The Beginning of a New Era and a New Season for Jacques Lacombe

The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra will officially welcome Jacques Lacombe as its new Music Director in a Gala Opening Night Celebration on September 14 at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark. Internationally renowned violinist Joshua Bell and soprano Jeanine De Bique will join maestro Lacombe for an evening highlighting his love of music from the orchestral to opera and ballet.

Jacques Lacombe will also take the podium for the inaugural concerts of the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal’s regular series (September 7 and 12) and of the Orchestre symphonique de Trois-Rivières’ 33rd season (September 18).

In addition, Maestro Lacombe will present “À votre portée”, a 4-part radio series dedicated to orchestral music. Broadcast by Radio-Canada’s Première Chaîne (96.5 FM), the series will start on September 12 at 5 pm.
